JOURNEY TO SUSTAINABILITY WITH GREEN MY EXPERIENCE

The VISION

OPS, a consulting services company based in Puerto Rico, sought to enhance its sustainability practices, focusing on environmental aspects such as water and electricity usage, waste management, and transportation. The ultimate aim was to improve their overall sustainability performance and pursue B Corp certification to access new markets and clients, particularly in Europe, where B Corp certification is highly valued.

The solution

Green My Experience stepped in with a comprehensive sustainability assessment. The process commenced with a detailed call with OPS’s office manager to understand their current practices. This was followed by an in-depth analysis by Green My Experience’s team, culminating in a thorough evaluation of OPS’s sustainability practices across four key areas: water consumption, electricity consumption, waste management, and transportation. The team identified existing sustainable practices and areas needing improvement, crafting tailored recommendations for ops. These recommendations spanned short, medium, and long-term actions. 

The results

Green My Experience provided OPS with a detailed report and presentation, offering a clear action plan to enhance their sustainability performance. This not only outlined the steps OPS needed to take to improve their practices but also highlighted the potential for ops to achieve b corp certification. Importantly, our partnership with OPS is an ongoing relationship, and the B Corp Certification advisory is currently in progress. We eagerly anticipate reporting on concrete results once the process is completed, further demonstrating our shared commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. This successful collaboration underscores our continued support and advisory role in OPS’s sustainability journey.
