A Night of Harmony and Inspiration
On the evening of September 22nd at The Ned Nomad, attendees experienced a captivating blend of music and art with Costa Rican artists Manuel Obregón and Carlos “Tapado” Vargas. Their performance combined Obregón’s piano with Vargas’ percussion and sound therapy, creating a powerful sensory experience. This unforgettable event set a perfect tone just before NYC Climate Week, leaving the audience inspired and ready for the conversations on sustainability ahead.
Sustainable Actions & Impacts
Paperless Communication
All event communications are conducted via QR codes, eliminating the need for printed materials.
Waste Reduction
Recycling programs were in place to minimize waste, helping reduce the event’s landfill contribution.
Water Conservation
Water dispensers were available to avoid the use of plastic bottles.
Reusable Materials
Reusable cutlery and dishes were used to eliminate single-use disposables.
EVENT’S FOOTPRINT
To offset this footprint, 15 trees will be planted through The Forest Effect project, ensuring our participation in the event leaves a positive environmental impact.
